I cannot believe that we have gone from this….
to this.. in the blink of an eye. It seems like only yesterday she was trying to feed him with her baby doll bottles… Now here we are walking a Second Grader and Kindergartener to school.(insert tears here!)
Here is our sweet C Man walking to the Big School. He was so excited this morning!(and looks too grown up here!)
He made sure we had a gift for his teacher on their first day together! Oh how we absolutely LOVE her and know it’s going to be a great year!!
He looks like such a Big Boy in this next picture. There are just no words to describe how proud we are of him..(add in the fact that he still enjoys having his pictures taken in public and we are Ecstatic Parents!)
Which leads us to the next subject. Taking K to her class. She would have settled for us saying our goodbyes in the hallway(far far away). So, we did what any parent would do ~ we walked her to class, into class, and snapped pics the entire time.(With a huge camera in tow!) Yes ~ she’s bitter!
We aren’t quite sure if this is an actual smile or a “You’ll pay for this later” type of grin. Eddy should have walked away at this point, but isn’t she gorgeous! She’ll always be our little girl and we just can’t get enough of that sweet face.
Okay ~ By this point, the patience had worn VERY thin on her part I believe.. What do you think? I was in the crossfire of stares to make Eddy stop, and he is across the room oblivious that SHE wouldn’t want him taking her picture. Since when have we gone from Daddy’s little Princess that she is going to marry to embarrased? He hasn’t admitted it, but I think he is really taking this hard. ; (
Oh yeah - we’ve officially been cut off here people!!!
Now, I have to add one more pic of our sweet Lil Man. He had the hardest time today. He is so used to “the guys” being home to entertain him, that he felt a tad bit lost. He wants to do everything that they do so finding out that he isn’t actually 5 years old, like he says he is, has really been hard. He did however get to wear his backpack like “the guys”, to walk them to school. He was so proud!
